Who we Are -

All Aboard Waldwick is a branch of the Waldwick, NJ Historical Society. It's members are volunteers who have successfully restored the Erie Railroad signal tower, also known as the "WC". Built in the 1890 the tower and associated yard operations had a significant impact on Waldwick's rich railroading past. Through private donations, local fundraising, and government grants, All Aboard has transformed the signal tower to it's former glory. We have recently renovated the interior of the "Harvey Springstead Memorial Signal Tower", and create an environment where students, railfans, history buffs, and local groups can learn about the important role that manned signal/switching towers played in the operation of the railroad before computerization and regional control.
